Team Skyline is carrying form into the late season with victory at the New York State Criterium Championships. New signee Trevor August won from the break with the support of teammate Jake Castor.
The duo broke away early along with a third, and the three man break kept the remainder of the field at bay, with Trevor sprinting for the win.
“It was a perfect 3-man break,” said Trevor.
Trevor is looking forward to carrying his fitness and form into the upcoming Green Mountain Stage race.
Patterson Pass Road Race
This past weekend saw Team Skyline racing on the west coast as well. Andrew Scott ventured into the Bay Area to race the Patterson pass road race. The 90 mile course is one of the hardest on the CA calendar, featuring 4 categorized climbs with almost 9,000 feet of climbing. Andrew finished 15th in a strong field of climbers from California, showing the rise in promising form for end of season events.
